Mission

Producing high-quality craft beers, accompanied by a food menu that has been designed to complement them well.

All within a friendly space where various forms of art are presented. Exhibitions of works by local artists, musical performances, comedy shows, and magic acts are among the events that animate Brasseur Local.

Our priority is quality, both in terms of service and the ingredients used in brewing and cooking.

Jack

As a craft beer enthusiast for over 20 years, he developed a passion for brewing a few years ago as a homebrewer.

Eager to turn his passion into a career, he was first hired as an assistant brewer at Archibald Microbrasserie in Lac-Beauport, where he learned to work on commercial systems and mastered the craft of brewing. He was then promoted to brewer at the Val-Bélair production facility, where he learned to become a methodical brewer who cares deeply about product quality.

Keen to learn more, he later became a brewer for the craft brewery La Souche Limoilou in Quebec City.

There, he learned the complete management of a craft brewery, from production to service, including inventory management, personnel, and brewing schedule development.

He eventually set up his equipment at Brasserie Alpha to begin the Brasseur Local project.

At Brasseur Local, Jack is primarily responsible for beer production and the kitchen.

Chantale

Her passion for people's well-being led her to pursue training in restaurant service. She then became a waitress and/or bartender in major restaurants or pubs in the city of Quebec.

After about ten years in the restaurant industry, she made a career change to pursue accounting training.

At Brasseur Local, Chantale is primarily responsible for service, human resources, and administration.
